Journey into the Whispering Woods

Artist's Note: I painted this to capture the feeling of being lost and found all at once. I wanted to freeze that exact second when the light hits the path so perfectly that you can’t help but believe in magic.


There is a moment in the heart of autumn where the world seems to hold its breath. "Journey into the Whispering Woods" captures that fleeting, supernatural pulse of the forest.

Close your eyes for a breath, then look again. You are no longer standing in front of a canvas; you are standing at the edge of a world made of amber and old magic.

As you take your first step, the forest begins to hum. It is a low, rhythmic vibration of ancient trees swaying in a wind you cannot see, but can certainly feel against your cheeks. 

As you walk along the golden path of dancing shadows and the play of light, toward the very heart of the sun, it's warmth embraces you welcoming you to a new beginning. As you look ahead the path curves out of sight, draped in a shimmering mystery inviting you to uncover the secrets that lie ahead.
